About

One person who has worked inside almost every part of the chain.

Liz Stone, Strategic Advisory

I have spent more than 19 years inside the machinery of customer acquisition. I have worked agency-side and client-side. I have bought media, built funnels, worked with data and publisher partners, managed call-center relationships and served as the CMO of a financial business with approximately 100 salespeople. Today I run LizDev, Inc. as founder and CEO, serve as CMO of Digital Viking Media and Digital Health Media, a performance marketing agency, and I am a partner at Vantage Flow Media, a social media agency.

I started answering phones in a call center when I was 21. That matters more than it may sound. It taught me early that a lead does not become revenue because a dashboard says it was delivered. The source, offer, timing, phone system, agent, script, follow-up and reporting all matter.

I am also a neurodivergent mother of two. My brain naturally looks for patterns, contradictions and connections across large amounts of information. That can make ordinary life more complicated than a clean calendar would suggest. In business, it is exceptionally useful.

I am most useful when a lot is moving at once and no explanation holds up. If the problem is contained to one channel and your team already knows where it is, you do not need me.

Outside of client work, I wrote Capable, But Can’t, a book about high performers whose brains handle complexity easily and simple tasks badly. That work sits under Maxora LLC, the separate company I use for publishing, writing and the community around the book, so it stays clearly apart from client engagements. Same instinct as the consulting work: find the one step where the system quietly breaks.

A vetted network when the work requires it

After 19 years, the operators worth calling are usually one text away instead of one long vendor search away: media-buying teams, publisher and registration-path networks, telecom and call-center operators, data and attribution specialists, and AI and development talent. I make introductions inside an engagement when they are the right answer. I am not selling a contact list, and I do not accept referral fees or volume-based compensation for introductions.

What usually turns up along the way

Established businesses that buy media at real scale are frequently sitting on assets they have never treated as assets: their data, their audience, tools they built for themselves, and channel access other companies would pay for. That kind of revenue line shows up during a diagnostic, not before it, and we scope it separately when it does. If it is not there, I will tell you that too.
